         The Tropics is a West Hollywood night club. Joe is a nude dancer there. He's also a porn star and drug dealer. Andy is a bi-curious young Latino with a pregnant girlfriend. But Andy nonetheless can't resist Joe's charms and gets involved with him. When Joe sets up Andy to take the fall for a drug bust, Andy faces deportation. But that can't be. Andy was born in the U.S.....Wasn't he?

         Isis, Andy's beautiful mom, is a lesbian. She is enjoying a sparkling romance with Alicia, an attorney. When everything hits the fan for Andy, it will take all of Alicia's considerable legal skills if she is to rescue her lover's son from an appalling miscarriage of justice.

         "Naked in the Tropics" has a lot to offer an adult theatre audience: romance, mystery, danger, sex, skin and music.

         Odalys Nanin is playwright, director and co-lyricist. The Producing Artistic Director and Founder of Macha Theatre/Films, her previous plays include "The Adventures of the Lieutenant Nun," "Beyond Love" (Best Lesbian Play, Curve Magazine), "Skin of Honey," "Love Struck," "Garbo's Cuban Lover ("Ten Best," The Advocate), "The Nun and the Countess" ("Ten Best," The Advocate), as well as her translation and adaptation of "Blood Wedding." She is the recipient of the Pat Parker Arts Award and was named one of the 100 People Who Make A Difference by Out Magazine. Ms. Nanin is a graduate of The Drama Studio London and Rutgers University.

         Danny Indart is composer and co-lyricist. He has written extensively for TV and movies ("Swing Vote," "Sunshine Cleaning," "In The Valley of Elah," "Date Movie," much more) and for over 1000 commercials.

         The cast for "Naked in the Tropics" includes (in alphabetical order) Gabrielle Abitol, Victor Dante, Isaac Cruz, Tricia Cruz, Carey Embry, Phil lip Hunter, Jean St. James, Castille Landon, Daniel Rivera and Natalie Salins.
